There is usually a moment in a technology update that gets less attention than the headline. It is the moment when someone has to decide whether the change belongs in a real workflow, or whether it is simply interesting for now.
The useful question
That is the part I keep coming back to. A feature can be technically impressive and still be awkward to operate. The practical test is smaller: can a team try it without rebuilding the system around it, and does it remove a decision that used to slow people down?
Start with one contained example. Keep the old path available, write down what changed, and pay attention to the edges. That is where most cloud work becomes real.
My current read
This is promising, but the details matter more than the announcement. I would test it with a real use case before treating it as a new default.
